Caro filmmaker
Abbiamo il piacere di comunicarti l'uscita del bando di concorso per
partecipare alla quinta edizione dell’Euganea Movie Movement – Festival
Internazionale del Cortometraggio e del Documentario, che si svolgerà a
Monselice e nei Colli Euganei (PD) dal 10 al 16 luglio 2006.
La quinta edizione è un risultato importante per una manifestazione che
ha
visto crescere ben oltre le aspettative la partecipazione di pubblico e
appassionati. Il fascino e la suggestione creati delle proiezioni
all’aperto
(Cava della Rocca, Castello Cini, Villa Selvatico per citarne alcuni),
la
ricca selezione di lavori presentati, l’ospitalità che viene data ai
registi
selezionati e la partecipazione di ospiti importanti sono gli elementi
che
hanno portato il festival a diventare una manifestazione unica nel
panorama
culturale del territorio.
L’edizione 2006 del festival si articola intorno a tre sezioni
competitive:
Concorso Cortometraggi Italiani:
Alla sezione sono ammessi cortometraggi prodotti in Italia di qualsiasi
genere (fiction, animazione,sperimentali) e formato (video, pellicola)
di
durata non superiore ai 30 minuti. Il tema è libero e le opere devono
essere
state realizzate dopo il 1 gennaio 2005.
Concorso Cortometraggi Stranieri:
Alla sezione sono ammessi cortometraggi prodotti fuori dall’Italia di
qualsiasi genere (fiction, animazione, sperimentali) e formato (video,
pellicola), di durata non superiore ai 30 minuti. Il tema è libero e le
opere devono essere state realizzate dopo il 1 gennaio 2005.
Concorso Internazionale del Documentario:
Alla sezione concorso sono ammessi film documentari italiani e stranieri,
di
qualsiasi genere e formato, realizzati dopo il 1 gennaio 2005. La durata
non
deve essere superiore ai 60 minuti.
Una giura assegnerà un premio alla migliore opera in ognuna delle tre
sezioni del concorso:
1. - Migliore Cortometraggio italiano
2. - Migliore Cortometraggio straniero
3. - Migliore Documentario
Gli spettatori del festival avranno la possibilità di votare il miglior
lavoro, che riceverà il Premio del Pubblico.
Le copie per la selezione deve essere inviate in formato DVD
(preferibilmente) o VHS entro e non oltre il 30 aprile 2006 al seguente

Una volta compilato il modulo di iscrizione, verrà inviata al vostro
indirizzo una mail di conferma contenente in allegato un riepilogo della
scheda compilata in formato pdf, tale scheda dovrà essere stampata,
firmata
e inviata insieme alla copia del video.

We have the great pleasure to announce that Euganea Movie Movement –
International Festival of Short Films and Documentaries has come to the
Fifth Edition, and will take place in the picturesque Monselice
(Padova-Italy) surrounded by the beautiful Euganei Hills, from the 10th
to
the 16th of July 2006.
This Fifth Edition is a very important result for our festival, that has
grown beyond our own expectations in audience affluence and liking. We
believe what makes this festival quite unique is the incredibly
captivating
open-air projections in the antique pit (Cava dellla Rocca), the
Thirteenth
Century castle (castello Cini) or the Fifteenth Century villa (villa
Selvatico). And of course a rich selection of films, free accommodation
for
the authors, important guests at hand, have made this festival one of
the
most important events in the cultural panorama of Veneto.
The Festival Edition 2005 constitutes of three sections:
Italian Shorts Competition:
Short films produced in Italy of any genre (fiction, animation,
experimental, non-narrative etc.), format (video, film) or subject, up
to
30 minutes in length are admitted.
The shorts must have been made after the first of January 2005.
International Shorts Competition:
Short films produced outside Italy, of any genre (fiction, animation,
experimental, non-narrative etc.), format (video, film) or subject, up to
30
minutes in length are admitted.
The shorts must have been made after the first of January 2005.
International Documentary Competition:
Documentaries, made after the first of January 2005 of any genre or
format,
up to 60 minutes in length are admitted.
AWARDS
1. - Best Italian Short
2. - Best International Short
3. - Best Documentary
4. - Audience Award
The deadline to send your preview copy (VHS or DVD) is the 30th April
2006.

in
your entry-form you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of
your
entry-form in pdf file. Please print it, sign it and send it to the
address
below, together with a preview copy (VHS or DVD) of your work.
A list of dialogues in Italian or English is requested for works spoken
in
languages different from Italian, unless your work is already subtitled
in
Italian or English. After being selected, please attach the list of
dialogues to an e-mail. Please be aware, if you fail to send the list of
dialogues you will be excluded from the competition.
